1. Data controller and contact
The data controller is Giovanni Soverina, a private accommodation provider operating without business activity. Postal address: Via Castelletti 18 B, 22037 Ponte Lambro (CO), Italia. For privacy requests, write to emozionedellagolaglio@gmail.com. Vittorio and his team handle guest communication on behalf of the accommodation provider.
2. Data and purposes
- Browsing generates technical data such as IP address, request time and security logs needed to operate and protect the website. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in providing a secure service (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- If you contact us, we use the name, contact information, requested dates, guest count and message you provide to answer your request and take steps before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Information required by accommodation, tax or accounting law is processed under Article 6(1)(c).
- The optional map loads only after consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Your privacy choice is stored in your browser for up to six months. There are no advertising or analytics tools on this website.
3. Services and recipients
The website is hosted by Vercel. The availability calendar is retrieved from Booking.com by the server; the website publishes blocked date ranges without guest names or reservation details. The optional interactive map is provided by OpenStreetMap. Email correspondence uses the published Gmail mailbox. Authorised guest-support and technical-support personnel may access information where needed for their work.
Email, WhatsApp, Telegram, Google Maps, Booking.com and Airbnb links open external services governed by their own privacy notices. The website does not currently submit inquiry forms to a delivery service or accept payments. If you use an external contact channel, that service receives the information you choose to send.
Providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Applicable transfer safeguards, including adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses where required, are described in their privacy and data-processing terms.
4. Retention
Inquiry correspondence is kept for the time needed to answer the request and handle any resulting booking. If no stay results, it is kept only while follow-up or a related dispute remains reasonably necessary. Records required for a stay, tax, accounting or legal claims are retained for the applicable statutory period. Hosting security logs follow the hosting provider's documented retention settings. You can request details or deletion where no legal obligation requires continued retention.
5. Your rights
You may write to emozionedellagolaglio@gmail.com to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, or to object where applicable. Consent can be withdrawn at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
6. Your choice
You can browse without contacting us and without enabling the map. Contact details and the information needed to answer your question are necessary only if you request a reply. We do not use automated booking decisions, profiling or marketing subscriptions. Cookie settings in the footer let you change the map preference at any time.
